This year’s blueberry season has come to an end. We want to thank everyone for another wonderful year!
If you grow your own blueberries, or are thinking of planting some, and would like to learn more about how you can prune them to maximize fruit yield, we hold a pruning workshop every spring. While we don’t have a date set yet for the 2018 workshop, we will be sure to post more information in the spring.
We will also send out some information about the event in our newsletter.
PYO Blueberry Information
Typically we offer pick your own all day long on the weekends and during the mornings on weekdays. That is subject to change based on the weather and availability, however so we recommend that you check our website or give us a call (978-838-2942) before planning your trip to the farm.
Our PYO Blueberry pricing differs slightly from our other crops in that you get a discount if you pick over 10 pounds. This year we will be charging $4.25/lb if you pick under 10lbs, and $4.00/lb if you pick over 10lbs.
You can bring your own container or purchase one from us. Children are encouraged, but we prefer when they bring their parents. Pets are allowed on the farm but, unfortunately, we cannot allow you to bring you pets into the fields.
Please Note: If you bring your own container we will weigh it before you enter the field so we know how much value to deduct from what you pick when you checkout. We do not deduct the weight of the trays we provide when weighing your berries, which adds roughly $1.50/tray to the cost of what you pick, which helps us cover the cost of the tray.
Should you have any questions about availability, our growing practices, or simply blueberries in general, you can fill out the form below, or visit our Contact Us page to find out how to get in touch. We would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
